Plants here

I went out and took photos of some of the plants near the house. This is mostly for the benefit of my Dad so he can play a guessing game. I currently can recognise ´cactus´and that some might be euphorbia. This one below IS Euphorbia Caneriensis after all.

Snails hiding from hot weather on the plant. Sometimes whole branches covered! This opposite of hibernation is called ´Aestivation´ I think, in case you need to know.

Type of Agave?

Prickly Pears! Sadly not ready to eat.

This one is interesting - it leaks bright pink/red bloodlike juice all over the place. They look so jewel like and edible but I don´t believe they are. The dried ones (the black stars you can see here) soak up water and open up into bigger stars even if they´re not attached to the plant.
